Jin Roh Concept Bike

 As I mentioned in the previous article I've been doing some projects for the master degree I am currently studying.  One of those projects was to design a bike using SolidWorks, Rhino and Grasshopper. We had total freedom with the condition of try to use the software we didn't known previously. In my case, I had previous experience using SolidWorks so I decided to learn the other two, which are very different. Then we made some renders and a short animation using keyshot, which I didn't used before also.

Animation and presentation of a product

The last months I've been a bit busy doing some projects for the master degree I am studying. One of those projects consisted in made a video presentation of a product. The product I chose is the Steam Controller, a PC controller made by Valve. I made animations and renders using Autodesk 3ds Max and Vray. Then, I did the video montage with Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects. This is the final result: As I mentioned before, from a model that I downloaded from the internet. I had to assign materials to the different pieces. Since most of the pieces were plastic, I only modified the glossiness, reflection and refraction parameters to achieve the desired effect. 3ds max material interface. Then I made an studio scenario using a plane as a background and some lights. And by animating the controller and different cameras I obtained some sequences that later I used in premiere.
