Exercices in Catia V5

  Last summer I took an online Catia V5 course at https://formacad.es/ . In this course I learned the Sketcher, Part Design, Generative Shape Design, Assembly, Drafting and Generative Sheetmetal Design modules. Here are some exercises I did during the course: For the two assemblies shown I already had the components made so I just had to put them together. But below I show some other pieces that I have made during the course. I hope this entry serves to show my current level of Catia V5, but I'm willing to learn more. Thanks for taking the time to watching it. 

Steam Engine in Solidworks

This is a project I made during my Mechanical Engineering Degree. In this case, the teacher gave us the blueprints of differents steam engines designed by JP Duval which you can download in the following link:  http://jpduval.free.fr Following these blueprints I modeled the parts in Solidworks and then assembled them. I also applied different materials to the components but without an specific objective, just to modify the appearance and be able to add a list of materials to the exploded plane. This is the final result:
